6 posts · Joined 2010. #1 · Nov 5, 2010. Hello everyone this is my first post. so im thinking about getting a jeep GC, preferably the models with the 4.7 HO but i have some concerns about the 4.7 V8. I have heard of several issues like thin cylinder walls, sludge and cracking heads.

Gonna be changing out my serpentine belt with a Gatorback, but I need to know the best spark plug for my WK 4.7. Hi. I have a WJ 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4.7 litre HO V8. It has recently began surging in the engine revs both at idle and when driving. For example, at a normal engine idle the revs will continually increase and decrease upwards of 700 RPM to 1300 RPM and back down again to the normal idle RPM of about 600 RPM.
