Themoney glitch works with any save file up to version 1.05. Upload the file to either online storage or copy it to a usb stick. Usb is actually the easiest. Then hover above the game in the main menu, select options and delete the game. This will only delete the game, never the save file. Now reinstall the game from a fysical copy (disk).
