Just hit level 80 and was wondering how you get more hero points for specialization? (only have HoT and PoF) The Hero Challenges in HoT and PoF give 10 each, way more effective than scrambling them by in the core maps.
End of Dragons has many hero challenges that just require communing at a statue, without fighting. Overall, you need 250 hero points to fully unlock one elite specialization. With 400 hero challenges awarding 10 points each in the expansions, you can easily max out multiple elite specs before needing to return to harder ones.
Now you have 2 options:-1. go to a different zone with appropriate level-2. DUNGEONS!At this point i like to stop doing my personal quests, i think about them as a lets say, worst case scenario, where your absuletly need the EXP.At level 30, you will unlock your first dungeon, Ascalonian catacombs.
Guild Wars 2 is about exploration. You don't do anything you don't want to. Just find the level 30 map that appeals to you most and go explore! As for traits and utilities. Just put something that looks appealing to you. It's just level 30. You want to have fun. So just pick skills that look fun!

The system works, yes, but it could benefit from a small overhaul. Masteries are tied to account progression, not character. . 367 210 106 238 321 147 275 488
